Dnes u\u017e v\u00edme, \u017ee se tak stane 1.6.2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Parents in the Labor Market<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ffe8478a47bc5d531c9e7b8697a9d4d9\">The amendment to the Labor Code now allows employees on parental leave to perform the same job for the same employer as before taking leave, based on a Work Agreement (DPP) or an Agreement on Work Activity (DP\u010c). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-653c7d87b65e08f03df4ed1022a83822\">At the same time, a guaranteed return to the original position and the same workplace will be ensured \u2013 if returning within two years of the child's birth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Termination of Employment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5deeb41999a105552ae87223b3558ef9\"><strong>The notice period will now start on the day the termination notice is received\/delivered.<\/strong> This means that if an employee submits their resignation on March 15, their employment will end after two months, i.e., on May 15. Previously, if an employee resigned on March 15, the notice period would only start on April 1 (i.e., from the beginning of the following month), and the employment would end on May 31. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b2a8c195667dd1e622efc58f8c2520f9\">A new change that <strong>reduces the notice period to one month.<\/strong> will apply to cases where the termination is due to <strong>the employee's violation of work discipline<\/strong> or if the employee <strong>does not meet the legal requirements or the employer's criteria for performing the job. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6eac0058470b80429cca379a908fbc63\">If the employment relationship is terminated <strong>by notice or agreement due to the employee's long-term medical incapacity to perform their current job as a result of a work-related injury, an occupational disease, or the risk of such a disease,<\/strong> \u2013 the employee will now receive <strong>a special compensation, which will be covered by the employer's statutory insurance.<\/strong>. Probationary Period<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0d9b03accb539b139fcdd50b7eb7b751\">The probationary period between the employer and a regular employee can now last up to four months (previously three), while for managerial employees, it can be eight months (previously six).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Work for Minors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1489ba00a83c3839179bd96af4299606\">If you have a child at home who can't wait to officially earn their first money \u2013 the amendment also takes them into account. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c36d670c299a71a5c851eb111c4df07d\">Minors<strong> from the age of 14, minors will be allowed to perform light work.<\/strong> during the main summer holidays, even if they have not yet completed compulsory schooling. For completeness, it is worth noting that the working hours of minors under the age of 18 can be a maximum of <strong>7 hours per day and 35 hours per week.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Rest Period<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-600303d254fc3a34d767f62d87b65525\">In the event of natural disasters, accidents, or other extraordinary circumstances, employees' rest periods may be shortened. This applies to the rest period between shifts, which is reduced (from the original 8 hours)<strong> to 6 hours.<\/strong> The rest period will be compensated for the following day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Confidentiality Clause on Salary\/Wages\/Remuneration from Agreements \u2013 Unlawful<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6093762665ee69f395956e39fe38f91e\">It has been approved that a confidentiality clause for employees regarding salary, wages, or remuneration from agreements is unlawful, and employers who enforce it may face a fine of up to 400,000 CZK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Pre-Employment Medical Examinations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-144021598ba6bc076a2fc37d9cc03aee\">For job categories classified as Category 1 (mainly office work), the requirement for pre-employment medical examinations will be abolished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-947b687153b9900f63ee20e0bc64ee0b\">Changes and adjustments to unemployment benefits have also been approved.
